Chinese New Year Celebration 2023 is highlighted by the Official Street Light-Up. It will be displayed between 3 January 2023 and 19 February 2023. The display will take place along New Bridge Road, Eu Tong Sen Street, Upper Cross Street, and South Bridge Road from 7 pm to midnight.

There is no doubt that Chinatown is a hot spot for Lunar New Year celebrations. Buddha Tooth Relic Temple has been decorated with a sparkling CNY lantern display for a truly illuminating experience.
Among their decorations, this year are light-up rabbits and cute characters celebrating Chinese New Year. In addition, the temple pillars are also decorated.

Festive Fair and Food Fair
Chinese New Year celebrations are back in full swing in Chinatown. There are vendors hawking their goods on Sago Street, Smith Street, Pagoda Street, Trengganu Street, and Temple Street. The atmosphere is lively and bustling! This is a great place to pick up some cute rabbit Angbaos or to stock up on Chinese New Year goodies.
Get yourself some tarts, cookies, and Bak Kwa to satisfy your munchies; grab lanterns, ornaments, and gold ingots to manifest luck and cha-ching. Remember to bring rabbit-themed pendants and trinkets, too.
