If you’re passionate about heritage, artistry, and meaningful storytelling, Luzerne’s latest launch is an absolute must-see! Commemorating Singapore’s 60 years of independence, Luzerne proudly presents the SG60 Diamond Collection — a breathtaking range of handcrafted ceramic plates and cups that tell the Singapore story through the artistry of porcelain.
The Singapore Story Told on Porcelain
The SG60 Diamond Collection celebrates six decades of Singapore’s remarkable journey. At its heart is the limited-edition SG60 Diamond Plate—only 60 pieces of 50cm handcrafted plates, each a stunning collage of six unique designs. These designs symbolize key milestones from each decade, beautifully portraying Singapore’s growth from humble kampongs and dragon playgrounds, to becoming a vibrant global city.

The collection also features:
SG60 Singapura Plate (30cm)
SG60 Singapura 6-Plate Set (six 16cm plates)
SG60 Kopi Set (six espresso cups & saucers in a boxed set)
All items showcase intricate artistry by Associate Professor Ng Woon Lam, an internationally acclaimed Singaporean watercolorist. His Taiji-inspired painting style captures Singapore’s dynamic life and harmony with masterful Chinese calligraphy strokes, making each piece a heartfelt tribute to the nation’s spirit.
A Powerful Cause: Raising SGD 600,000 for Youth Mental Health
More than just a collector’s item, each of the 60 Diamond Plates will be donated to charity, with the aim of raising SGD 600,000 to support youth mental health initiatives. Luzerne has partnered with Community Chest Singapore (ComChest) to facilitate donations and direct proceeds to four selected charities, including the President’s Challenge and Samaritans of Singapore. Fundraising opens on 8 July 2025 and runs until 31 December 2025 at www.luzerne.com/sg60, with minimum donations starting at SGD 2,688 per plate.
Elaine Lek, CEO of Luzerne and co-founder of the PleaseStay Movement, shared passionately:
“Speaking up on youth mental health and suicide prevention is a responsibility I carry deeply. With this initiative, we hope to break stigma and better support those silently struggling.”
A Double Celebration of Heritage and Innovation
The media launch was a joyful occasion celebrating not just the SG60 Diamond Jubilee, but also Luzerne’s 75 years of heritage and innovative craftsmanship. Ms Denise Phua, Mayor of Central Singapore District, commended Luzerne for being a great local brand with a strong heart for giving back.
Luzerne’s story is equally inspiring—starting from its factory in Dehua, China, the birthplace of Blanc de Chine porcelain, to producing over 28 million pieces annually. The brand has pioneered bone ash-free fine china and even created a Guinness World Record-holding porcelain car sculpture!
Walk Through Singapore’s History on Your Table
Each plate in the SG60 collection depicts a decade of Singapore’s evolution:
