Singaporeans can earn a weekly cashback of up to S$3 by paying for their hawker meals with DBS PayLah! From Feb. 10, 2023 to Jan. 19, 2024. On PayLah! Mobile App.

SGQR-enabled hawker centres, coffeeshops and industrial canteens islandwide will offer the yearlong initiative every Friday starting Feb. 1.
Users receive instant cashback in their DBS PayLah accounts! Account without a minimum spending requirement.
Diners who scan to pay with DBS PayLah! Will be eligible for the cashback, but only if they are among the first 100,000 to do so on the app.
The DBS website also specifies that the cashback can only be redeemed once each Friday beginning at 6 a.m.
The “DBS 5 Million Hawker Meals Scheme” aims to provide relief to Singaporeans suffering from “persistent inflation and rising living costs” through “subsidised” meals, said DBS Singapore Country Head Shee Tse Koon.
How to claim
The following is a step-by-step guide to claiming your cashback:
1. You can find the SGQR code with the DBS PayLah! logo at SGQR-enabled stalls across 160 hawker centres islandwide.
2. Scan to pay.
3. Get 100 percent cashback (capped at S$3).
At participating stalls, for example, you will receive S$1.50 cashback if you buy a S$1.50 drink. Alternatively, if you purchased a S$6 meal at an eligible stall, you would be awarded a S$3 cashback.
When you make an eligible spend, a pop-up will inform you of your cashback amount. You’ll also see the following notice if all 100,000 meal subsidies have been redeemed:
