Attention travel lovers! Scoot, your go-to budget-friendly airline, is expanding its network in Southeast Asia with brand-new routes to Vietnam and Malaysia. Time to grab those suitcases and escape the daily grind!
On 3 July 2025, Scoot announced the launch of new direct services to Da Nang and Nha Trang in Vietnam, as well as Kota Bharu in Malaysia. These flights will gradually take off between October and November 2025.
Da Nang is a must on any Vietnam itinerary, known for its pristine beaches and natural wonders like the Marble Mountains. It’s also conveniently close to cultural gems such as the My Son Sanctuary (a UNESCO World Heritage site) and the historic towns of Hoi An and Hue.
Starting 20 October 2025, Scoot will operate three weekly flights to Da Nang on Airbus A320 Family aircraft, increasing to daily flights by December 2025.
Further south, Nha Trang is a beach lover’s paradise famous for its lively nightlife and fresh seafood. Pack your swimsuits and dancing shoes — this coastal city doesn’t sleep!
Flights to Nha Trang begin on 21 November 2025, with two weekly services on the Embraer E190-E2 aircraft. The frequency will ramp up to five times weekly by January 2026.
Meanwhile, Kota Bharu in Malaysia offers a peek into traditional Malay culture, with its stunning mosques, royal palaces, and bustling markets. Enjoy cultural performances from Rebana Ubi drum shows to Wayang Kulit shadow puppetry.
Scoot will launch two weekly flights to Kota Bharu on the E190-E2 aircraft, starting from 26 October 2025.
One-way economy fares (inclusive of taxes) start from:
Da Nang: S$115
Nha Trang: S$135
Kota Bharu: S$78

In addition to these new destinations, Scoot is ramping up flights to several popular cities, including Jakarta, Clark, Davao, Manila, Hat Yai, Perth, and Sydney, to accommodate growing travel demand.
