Are you worried about missing your last public transport ride home after Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve?
There is no need to worry about transportation on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, as SBS Transit and SMRT will extend their train and bus services.
Transportation by train
The North-South Line, East-West Line, Circle Line, Thomson-East Coast Line, and some bus services will be extended for commuters on the eves of Christmas and New Year, on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31, 2022.
LRT services at Bukit Panjang and airport services at Changi Airport are the only services excluded.
SBS Transit’s North East and Downtown Lines and Sengkang-Punggol LRT systems will be extended by one-and-a-half hours on Dec. 24 and two-and-a-half hours on Dec. 31.

Transportation by bus
According to the table below, bus timings will be extended for the following 13 bus services operated by SMRT.
Additionally, SBS Transit will extend its bus schedule.
