Famed as a shopper’s haven, Orchard Road evolves on October 28, 2023, with an exciting addition. The anticipated TRIFECTA, nestled in Somerset, becomes Asia’s premier surf, snow, and skate destination. Whether enamored with surfing, skating, skiing, or beyond, The Ride Side’s innovative attraction offers a chance to explore these sports and an array of thrilling experiences.

Reflecting on past mishaps, I genuinely wish such a prelude existed before my Switzerland snowboarding escapade, where I had an unexpected encounter with the snow-covered ground (a tale for another day).

With the help of virtual reality machines, Trifecta’s Ski/Snow arena simulates the natural mountain terrain so you get the best snowboarding experience in Singapore.

There’s also a “Freestyle” area equipped with airbags and dry slopes where you can try out some tricks and stunts.

If snow isn’t your thing, perhaps surfing suits you better. Actual waves, not digital ones. Enjoy a top-notch surfing experience, by Singaporean standards.

Asia’s largest standing wave pool, located within the Surf arena, can create waves reaching 1.5m high. Eager to surf, you’ll spot me riding the waves, although conquering the 1.5m ones might take some time.

After all the exertion, refueling becomes essential. TRIFECTA introduces “Butter,” a dining venture in partnership with Two Men Bagel House. Indulge in a thoughtfully crafted menu including all-day breakfasts, baked treats, nourishing grain bowls, coffee, and diverse lunch and dinner offerings. Notably, a dining section offers views of the surf and snow arenas, ensuring you won’t miss the action.

Minimum Age and Accompaniment at Trifecta

For the snow, surf, and skate arenas at Trifecta, the minimum age is 6 years old, and all children below 15 years old must be accompanied by parents or legal guardians. Individuals aged 15 and above can independently create accounts, make purchases, and join sessions. Participants under 18 will need a parent or legal guardian to sign a waiver.
