Known for mouthwatering meatballs and DIY furniture kits, IKEA has announced its plans for the Chinese new year.
As part of the Lunar New Year celebrations, IKEA is launching new, limited-edition festive dishes and goodies! Swedish Food Market will offer CNY goodies from 3 to 23 January 2023, and the Swedish Restaurant will serve CNY dishes from 3 to 28 February 2023.
CNY Rabbit Bun With Red Bean Filling ($2.80), which will be available at the Swedish Food Market, ushers in the Year of the Rabbit. Your CNY spread will definitely be enhanced by these adorable buns!
This year, you can also find Bak Kwa, which retails for $25.80 for a 500g box. The Prosperity Cat Macaron costs $5.80 each and is an adorable dessert on a stick. The newest addition to IKEA’s Swedish Restaurant menu is Half Lobster And Organic Spaghetti With Chilli Crab Sauce ($15). In addition, you can order five pieces of crispy Pork Dumplings ($3) to accompany your meal.
As a meat-free alternative to fish and chips, IKEA is launching Plant-Based Golden Fillet and Fries ($7).
During the period from 26 December 2022 through 8 January 2023, IKEA Family members will also be able to enjoy their renowned Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes and mushrooms soup for $12.90 instead of $14.90, while Gooey Cake and Nordic Fruit Water will cost $2.50 instead of $4..
