Haidilao Pop-Up Restaurant Offers Subzero Dining & Winter Sports Lessons Until End Jan 2023 at Ice Magic

Ice Magic: The Great Fantasy on Ice has been extended until 29th January 2023 from its original run date of 1st January 2023. It’s great to see that they’ve added new – and delicious – items during this period.

With Chinese New Year just around the corner, your next reunion dinner can get a whole lot cooler – literally. In subzero temperatures, Ice Magic is Singapore’s largest winter playground. You can enjoy a steamboat in the snow at the Haidilao pop-up restaurant this January 2023. A variety of new experiences will also be available, including snowboarding and skiing lessons.

Singapore’s best nights for hotpot are rainy nights when the weather is cool and breezy. Taking it a step further, you can dine at Ice Magic in temperatures as low as -10°C if you book as a group of 2,4, or 6.

A dining tent adorned with colorful fairy lights, along with bar seats, has been set up near the entry of the facility by Haidilao. Try one of the two set options – Hi Magic Beef or Hi Magic Pork. Some of the restaurant chain’s popular menu items are included in these boxes, such as the signature prawn paste, sliced fish, chicken, vegetable platter, and cheese tofu.

This will all be served on an ice table – because why not?

You’ll still want to make reservations as soon as possible since slots will run out quickly even though the experience is available twice daily. The booking period will start on 13th January 2023.

Aside from the slightly steep prices (from $248/2 pax), the dining experience will also include admission to the winter playground (U.P. $45/adult) so you can enjoy the snow before or after your meal.

Singaporeans are commonly good at swimming, running, and playing basketball. In terms of winter sports, we’re probably all noobs. Try the new introductory winter sports lessons at Ice Magic if you haven’t yet tried skiing or snowboarding in the Alps.

Beginner classes will be conducted by experienced instructors from the Singapore Ski and Snowboard Academy. In this hour-long session, you’ll learn about the gear and the basics of the sport so you can impress your friends.

Price: From $560 for a group of 4 for a 1-hour session

Experienced skiers and snowboarders can also participate in the City Ski and Snowboard Championships happening on 21st January 2023 ($98/person for registration).
