Netizen Ange received this as a Christmas gift and she didn’t think she’d feel empty without it on my wrist since putting it on the first time.
Her sharing on the Social Media app Lemon8 is based on being an ordinary girl who tries her best to keep up with simple fitness & everyday life.
These are the TOP things she uses her Apple Watch and what it does for her:
1️⃣ Google Doorbell notifications (she can immediately see who’s at the door & won’t miss any parcels or suspicious activity)
2️⃣ Track the real number of steps taken (Previously she only used the Health app on my phone and that’s not accurate because she doesn’t have her phone with her at all times, especially when walking around the house) – Now she can properly link this to the Healthy 365 app to earn points to convert to supermarket or bubble tea vouchers.
3️⃣ Upcoming calendar events (Ever since she became a full-time content creator, she finds herself juggling many things. She has unfortunately missed some important meetings in the last year, but now that she can see what’s upcoming at a glance even when without her phone, safe to say she has never missed anything ever since.)
4️⃣ she also won’t miss important phone notifications! If her phone is locked, all notifications will appear on BOTH her watch & phone. She won’t need to touch her phone if it’s not urgent so her workflow is not disrupted.
5️⃣ Her job is largely sedentary with admin work + editing, which takes up countless hours every day. Small reminders to stand up and move a little help keep her health in check! The notification has an alert that is only noticeable to her. It’s different from setting a phone alarm.
6️⃣ Ange loves the long list of workouts it can track! But she mainly uses it for HIIT, Yoga, Pilates, Strength Training & Walks. She likes looking at the heart rate monitor so she knows when she needs to rest or can push herself more even when she feels tired. It’s all in the mind sometimes.
7️⃣ Daily alarm & sleep cycle monitor! It’s fascinating to watch how she sleeps after waking up. Her deep sleep on most nights hovers around 55 minutes only! The alarm is also chef’s kisses. It seems she felt the iPhone one was so disturbing and rude! The Apple Watch alarm starts as a gentle vibration and tap but becomes stronger if she doesn’t respond.
There are many more interesting features, but these are the ones that she has grown to not be able to live without!
The best part about it is she can change the straps at any time. She wears one from the Apple Store – it doesn’t get sweaty since it’s fabric, and she clean it every day with alcohol wipes. Probably won’t last a super long time, but it’ll do for now and is really comfortable)
She’s using the Apple Midnight Aluminum Case with Sport Loop and in her very first week of having the watch, she shortlisted these straps for herself:

⌚️For Expensive watch vibes – tap here
⌚️Thin & Classy leather strap – tap here

There you have it. The Apple Watch may not be essential to everyone, but all these reviews by Ange seem legit that it’s a game changer.
